As we are all aware, summer is coming to an end. Booooo. And even though a new school year can be exciting (seeing our friends, new classes, football games), nothing can really beat summer, am I right? Let's see what our buddies from One Tree Hill have to say about summer ending and a new school year beginning:
1. I was kind of excited for a new school year but...
2. Looking around the classroom and you're like...
3. When everyone brings a 200 page notebook to class the second day because they read the syllabus and you didn't
4. When you have to constantly correct your teachers because your parents named you something exotic or impossible to pronounce
6. After a long first day of reading syllabuses and making human contact...
7. What you think about your friends when you're just too tired...
8. Because every summer day was Friday-Saturday-or-Sunday.
9. When calculus class makes your brain want to explode...
10. Waking up for the second week of school and you still can't believe summer is behind you.
11. When you changed over the summer...
12. After you take your first test of the school year...
13. When the teacher makes a joke but your classmates don't seem to find it funny...
14. Showing sympathy for your friend who just got detention
15. Making eye contact with the new cute boy (oh la la!)
16. When the teacher asks you to pick your head up from the desk
17. Talking to your counselor about college...
18. When it's October and you haven't started on your college apps...
19. When you get called into the office in the middle of class
20. But at the end of the day, we really just miss summer.
